“How can typography help to communicate abstract and esoteric ideas? What are some of the challenges of typesetting in multiple languages? How can you harness the expressive qualities of type (and the various ways you can create it) to get across your book’s concept? A concrete book is a book whose form is conceptually a “hand in glove” match for its content. How your book is designed and bound, and all of the materials you choose, should help to communicate your concept.”
