Black History Month

February – March 2023

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of hip-hop, I worked with the Black@Bose ERG to help create internal community events for both the ERG and whole company respectively. These events included a weekly trivia game, graffiti mural, email/article activations, and more.

What does hip-hop mean to you?

Inspired by my co-op partner, Jennifer Martinez, I designed and printed a 10ft mural to mimic the idea of graffiti and tagging/signing one’s name. This mural was placed in the corporate center lobby for the entire month of February– and this form of community building was the first of it’s kind for the company.

B@B ERG Trivia

Although the entire company shared the mural to celebrate, a private trivia game for the ERG members was held weekly to test their hip-hop knowledge.

Marquee Event Production

At the end of the month, the team produced a discussion panel with guests discussing hip-hop’s impact, culture, and history. I participated in behind the scenes work, helping the team prepare during the shoot as well as producing segment graphics for the video (seen above).
