PROBLEM

The organization that I adopted my dog from has a website with a lot of information that needs to be efficiently digested so that new comers can understand the adoption process of this rescue shelter. I support this organization greatly, and believe that a redesign could increase the amount of site traffic for incoming rescues/adoptions.

PROPOSED SOLUTION

A redesign that organizes the information in a way that prioritizes visual and typographic hierarchy to maintain the viewer’s interest whilst gaining the amount of time spent on each page. The redesign maintains a majority of the original website’s integrity, such as the types of pages and particular information per page. As the owner, Lori, updates her website nearly everyday, I created this redesign through the website builder, WIX, as a way to keep the interface user friendly and easy to maintain without a designer or developer.
